Wellness Days

Community-Centered, Trauma-Informed Holistic Care

Our Wellness Days offer compassionate, trauma-informed healing support for communities, organizations, and staff teams. Led collaboratively by Melissa Rioux, Jackie Rioux, and Lyndsy McFadden, these offerings create a safe, supportive space for individuals to receive one-on-one and small group wellness care through a variety of holistic modalities.

Our intention is to support emotional release, nervous system regulation, and overall mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. All services are grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, consent, and deep respect for each person’s unique healing journey.

We are honoured to bring our skills, presence, and heart-led care into community spaces across the region.

What Is a Wellness Day?

A Wellness Day is a dedicated day of holistic, trauma-informed care designed to support individuals in a gentle, accessible, and supportive environment. Participants may receive individual sessions and/or take part in optional group experiences, depending on the needs and preferences of the host organization.

Wellness Days may support:

  • Emotional and energetic release

  • Nervous system regulation

  • Stress, burnout, and overwhelm reduction

  • Trauma- and grief-informed care

  • Mental, emotional, and physical well-being

  • Grounding, rest, and reconnection

Each Wellness Day is customized in collaboration with the host to align with community goals, cultural values, and logistical needs.

Our Approach

Our work is rooted in:

  • Trauma-informed practice

  • Cultural sensitivity and respect

  • Choice, consent, and accessibility

  • Non-invasive, heart-centered modalities

We recognize that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Participants are invited to engage at their own pace, in ways that feel safe and supportive for them. Our goal is to create an environment where individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered.
